Brasília (December 14) - The Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) has launched a new version of the system called "LI Web". The measure aims to meet the need for technological modernization of the administrative modules of the system while at the same time contemplating the demands of foreign trade operators to improve import processes. At this time, the old version "Desktop - VB" is still in operation. Along with the new version of LI Web, two other modules of Siscomex Import were also made available via Internet access, which had old technological platforms: the Consent and the Administrative Treatment. During the modernization process of the Anuente module - now called "Anuente Web" -, in addition to the evolution of the platform, several functionalities have been incorporated to aid and facilitate the analysis of consenting bodies, which will guarantee a faster analysis of the License applications. Import. This migration is a necessary step for the desired progress with the Single Foreign Trade Portal and will bring improvements over the current flow. In this sense, the implementation of the "Anuente Web" module will facilitate the adhesion of the foreign bodies in the foreign trade to the Electronic Document Annexation system, which allows the elimination of paperwork for processes related to Brazil's commercial operations with the rest of the world. Siscomex's "Importer" module has gained several enhancements such as the registration of batch Import Licenses. In the "LI Web", companies can generate and transmit, in a single Excel file (.XML), a set of up to 400 license applications for registration. According to Secex, the novelty will allow the automation of this part of the process, reducing costs and deadlines at this stage of importation. To ensure more transparency and better control of Import Licenses, the new version of Siscomex Import will allow you to view the validity dates of the license, boarding restriction and approvals. In addition, the way you completed product data in the License has been enhanced, enabling you to record information for imported items individually. The system also gained yet another functionality that will allow the calculation of the total values of the Licenses. And, finally, new fields have been created, specific for information on imports of used material. More information about "LI Web" is available here. According to Secex, the two environments ("VB" and "web") will continue to coexist until the web version progressively replaces "Desktop - VB" - a replacement that will continue to be widely communicated.
