The Institute for Planning and Promotion in Foreign Trade - Ippex - was created in 2006 by the Federation of Commercial and Business Associations of Paraná - Faciap - with the aim of helping companies from Paraná to remain competitive in the international market.
With more than 12 thousand customers, Ippex has already issued more than 500 thousand certificates of origin, certifying the origin of goods in more than 200 countries. It also issues a Free Sale Declaration.
Ippex's operations in Paraná complement the service of issuing Certificates of Origin for export, already offered by Faciap since 1999, and which currently serves 296 commercial associations, representing more than 50 thousand companies in the state.
In 2010, it expanded its operations to the states of Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, and, in 2019, it also began serving the state of São Paulo.
