quarta-feira, 06 de maio de 2020
EXTENSION OF THE TERM TO COMPLY WITH THE EXPORT COMMITMENT
Provisional Measure No. 960 of 04/30/2020 was published on 05/04/2020 which extends the deadline for compliance with the export commitment for those who have suspension drawback concession acts that would expire in 2020, they may be extended for another year, counting from the due date. The interested beneficiary companies must send an Official Letter containing the request for extension based on Provisional Measure No. 960, of 04/30/2020 and the respective concession act (s) to the Export and Drawback Coordination ( COEXP) of the Subsecretariat for Foreign Trade Operations (SUEXT) through the Siscomex Electronic Document Attachment Module, creating a dossier of the type “Drawback Dossier” and informing, in the “Description” field, the expression “Extension”. Recalling that the companies that hold this benefit, if they were unable to comply with the export commitment within the previously established deadline, would have to pay all suspended taxes and fees with their due additions. This is yet another measure adopted by the federal government, in order to minimize the impacts of the COVID -19 pandemic on Brazilian companies.
