In the midst of the atypical situation in which they currently occur, due to the implications of COVID-19, or in the Brazilian government through Deint, it is actively discussed with our business partners and some of them are taking contingency measures in relation to Certificates of Origin, mitigating subject to reduction. Thus, we list below an update of the countries and the conditions of their products to receive the Certificate of Origin in this contingency period. Chile: Permissible to submit a scanned copy (scanned version) of the Certificate of Origin, which in turn, the original copy of the document must be published within 30 days. Colombia: Permissible to submit a scanned copy (scanned version) of the Certificate of Origin. Peru: Permissible to submit a scanned copy (scanned version) of the Certificate of Origin. Paraguay: Permissible to submit a scanned copy (scanned version) of the Certificate of Origin. It is important to mention that the CO must have all fields filled in, as configured in the Agreements and must also contain as appropriate signatures, being that it is not an electronic signature permission. The permission is the presentation of a scanned copy of the CO, seeking to avoid contact between people, between commercial operators and issuing entities. Thus, it is necessary to highlight that the determinations are not of the Ministry of Economy, but the goods of the importing countries, there are some measures that can be overcome in the conditions applicable in the commercial contracts. Finally, we emphasize that we remain attentive to the difficulties that this atypical situation provides and we continue to work together with our partners to ensure that the activities run as smoothly as possible. The Ippex Institute continues to sign the certificates of origin of companies in Curitiba or the metropolitan region that require Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm at Faciap headquarters. For subscription in other locations, please consult directly with the accredited Association or the hours practiced.
